AGREEMENT WITH VETERINARY SPECIALISTS SCOTLAND

  1. I confirm the insurance details I have provided are for an active policy and that I have read and understood my pet’s insurance policy cover and the information I have entered overleaf is true and correct.
  2. I understand that agreeing to submit an In- Direct claim, Veterinary Specialists Scotland is not confirming that my insurer will pay for my pet’s treatment.
  3. I understand that Veterinary Specialists Scotland will submit a claim to my insurance company on my behalf on the understanding I provide the following, in advance of my appointment:
    • Current policy schedule/certificate
    • Pay the balance outstanding & Insurance Administration Fee (please see section 4)
    • Provide Veterinary Specialists Scotland with the appropriate method in which to submit an insurance claim.
  4. On the day of my appointment I agree to pay an insurance administration fee of £45.00 even though my claim will be paid upfront.

Regardless whether the you have to activate the claim yourself or not, the hospital will still be required to provide all claim information to the insurance company directly and therefore the £45 non-refundable admin fee is still required for indirect claims. This is not a charge that insurance companies will cover. You have 7 days to provide a paper claim/link if applicable, failure to provide this within the timescale could mean your claim is not processed in a quick timescale.
